Volunteer Testimonials
"One of the greatest things I learned from Bridges Health is that we approach the client as a whole rather than as a pair of feet walking into a clinic. When the client enters our clinic, we perform various assessments to determine where their needs lie, whether it be fall risk education, foot care education, managing high blood pressure, or providing dates and times to allow them to continue attending our clinics."
— Sarah Park, Undergraduate Nursing Volunteer
"Volunteering at Bridges Health has been a tremendously rewarding experience for me. As a volunteer in the graduate nursing department, I was able to witness firsthand the impact Bridges Health can have on a community. I was fortunate enough to provide residents with free health screenings and talk with individuals about the resources to enjoy a healthier life. This experience reminded me of why I became a nurse and was humbling to see that not everyone has the same access to healthcare. Seeing the smiles on the community members will be something I will always cherish."
